The Victor was the best, it flew further, faster and with a bigger load. The Vulcan could carry 21 1000lb'ers but the victor could carry about 35. The reason the Vulcan outlived the Victor in the bomber role was that the Victor wasn't able to perform low altitude ops which were forced on the bomber fleets by SAM's.

Vulcan, looks great and didn't got the sorry fate of being converted into a tanker on a permanent basis
