~S~.I recently read a message by someone complaining about the 109 and the 190.I've found these to be very good.Even more if you lower the fuel level. They had the fuel tank under their seats...that'd go up with an additional fuel tank underneath.I'm looking for an Avro Lancaster.AVhistory haven't made one yet so is there another oner? And my contrails still don't work.

I've found the 109 to be an exceptional ground attack fighter, but in a dogfight with Spits or Hurris it can't turn quite hard enough.....
The TLUK boys are working on a Lanc at the moment, I don't know the release date, but it might be worth checking their forum here for more info.

I don't think there was an issue with the way the planes handled because in the right hands they were deadly as each other.  Fair enough u got an ace in a spit and an ace in a 109 the spit would outturn it and all but the 109 could do things the spit couldn't such as dive effectively and given advantages, the 109 was formidable.

True Poly, thanks to its fuel-injected Mercedes Benz engine it could bunt without the engine stalling.
Also the 109 could fly higher than the standard Spitfires (the modified MkVII could get it thought).
On the whole the German aircraft were good (ATI will be pleased to hear me say that), but yup I'm a Spit pilot at heart.

I think the "proof of the pudding" is that many Spitfires were shot down by German fighters.  This is proof in itself that the German fighters must have been good.

AND to put it on top of that the 109 was in service throughout the entire war. And knowing the Germans they would have quickly found a replacement if the 109 did not suffice.
