fs2002 wont install? help (Read 138 times)

Hi im having problem,s installing fs2002, it installes to a certain point then i get the blue screen ,something to do with v*d cache or fat any ideas had no problem installing fs2000?

Ive partioned the HD when I uninstall fs2002 it tell,s me its complete but when I check the folder in program files fs2002 is still there. Any suggestions welcome thanks in advance.

I think the file system on your HDD must be FAT32 or NTFS? Not sure.

I don't represent M$. Then why the name M$? Simple...I like what they make, especially FS!

Uninstall the whole thing, delete every file (or just the main fs2002 folder) and the icon, then try it again. If all else fails you can use my disk, since you payed for the game anyways, its no biggie. Or, just piss on M$, they do stuff like this, not on purpose of course, but it does happen occasionally. Roll Eyes

If you tell Microsoft they will probably send you a replacement or you could wait a little while before you tall them and they will send you FS2004 instead. But that's probably illegal

Send them 2K2 and 20 bucks and they'll send you 2K4 if it wont work for them either. Roll Eyes

Just send em the game with a DETAILED list of why it wont work, every error, everything, and I'm sure they are reasonable enough to figure it out. (might wanna include your receipt if you can find it) Wink

Thanks guy,s just installed it again lol and it flew in no pun intended it must be the puter or a conflict. Im having trouble keeping the CPU temp down and that may be affecting it.Cheers all.
