I was looking at the new flights availible for Fs2004 and saw in the misc flights that you could fly a jenny through a barn... That was a bit easy so i decided to try and fly the spirit of st louis through without using external view or the periscope. here are the pictures. Grin

the barn from a distance
...

Here i start to slip the aircraft so i can see out the side window

Here is what it looked like from inside

Square empty eggs..............

Your rudder doesn't show the slip ?  ???.....I know if you take your images in replay mode that happens, but if you shoot your screenshots during the actual flight, it will show control surface deflections, or if you turn on video mode, they will show when you replay the vid  8)...........I have done it all three ways ......v. impressive to see full rudder and ailerons inputs being used to indicate a true slip  Wink.......although your shots do show a good amount of slip coming through the barn  Grin   Grin

Hey thanks for all of your replys Grin

Rifleman unfortunantly i took all of the screen shots from a replay Embarrassed But here are two shots taken when pausing the simulation.

Here...
...

This angle shows the deflections better Wink
...

By the way the rudder on the Spirit of St. Louis, because it takes up almost the whole vertical stab, it is very effective. So effective that i managed to spin the plane 180 right before touchdown at an airport and landed it backwards.... Roll Eyes

I tried doing that in an F4U Corsair. I found out that there are crash effects in FS2004.  Wink Going through a barn at 400km/h is not recomended.
