I installed the add-on for the Fedex Hub.  When I did an IFR flight, all was well until ATC had me descend to 3200.  That was the last I heard from ATC.  They didn't land me.

If anyone is familiar with this scenery add-on,  do I have to do a VFR flight, or am I missing something on the downloading?  Thanks.

I must say, this is the first time I've heard of this, are you sure ATC didn't cancel your flight plan for not paying attention? (You get up, go to the bathroom, ATC cancels plan cause you aint paying attention for obvious reasons) I Have had this happen several times in busy areas. If you are paying full attention, give me the download and I will try it.
Also, are you sure you didn't get landing clearance and forget aobut it?

It's the above file.  It's on page 5 of FS2002 Scenery Downloads.

Yes, I'm positive I was paying full attention.  I didn't go anywhere, because I was admiring my new Fedex MD-11.  I waited for clearance per usual, but nothing.  Let me know how you make out.

Thanks for the assistance.

OK downloaded it, the file seems odd, no scenery or texture files inside the main one, so I just paste it in the scenerydb folder? The main file I mean?  Roll Eyes

I just have it in the add-on scenery folder.  I did exactly what the Read Me notes said to do.

Thanks a lot for doing that.  I'll need to retire for the nite.  Will look forward to checking your note tomorrow.

Well that is definetly the strangest thing I've ever seen. Approach said "Descend and maintain 3200 feet." I said ok, flew down, never said anything to me, left me hanging, I turned around to line up with the runway in a big circle and they slapped me on the wrist for veering off course  Angry Sorry man dunno what to tell ya.  Sad

Thanks for trying.  I feel better to know it's not just me.  The exact same thing happens after 3200.......nothing!  I guess I'll try a VFR flight, and see what runway they give me for landing.  If that doesn't work, I'll probably just get rid of the file, being that you can't land there anyway.   Undecided
