You know, even if I don't like new music (give me my walker and Geritol) I will give you this:
In the 70's, songs were about 4 minutes each. Now I think they're longer. How long is the average song?

Songfestiuval is edited to 2:00 or less, they managed to cut 34 seconds off the studio version of the winning song for the live performance, and she sings out of tone live... but not bad for a music producer to win that.
Very long songs:
Guns 'n Roses, November rain. how they can make it into a 6-minute radio version always makes me angry because the studio version is a good 8:57
Metallica, Mercyful fate. 11:11 for the studio version, 12:51 for a live performance
Average of what i have is around 3-4 minutes, but lots are over 4 minutes also
Russian planes:
IL-76 (all standard length ones)

Tu-154 and Il-62

Tu-134
