My first flight ever was onboard a United Airlines Boeing 737, the flight was from Eugene, Oregon to San Fransico, California. I was on my way to Washington DC. This was in May of 1998.

Canadian Airlines, Toronto to Hilton Head Island SC. I think I was 3 or 4 so that would be 1987 or 1988. After that, I've traveled on Canadian Airlines, Skyservice, Air Transat, and US Airways. I've never been on Air Canada because they're very expensive. Air Canada is going under. They layed off too many employees and neglected to bring on more for the Sunday and Monday boom. There were large line ups and some people had to wait for over 2 hours and many missed their flights, even though they came three hours in advance.
X's fair was really cheap. I was planning a trip from Toronto to Kingston to visit my Aunt who had just moved there. The trip is about 300km (187mi) on a bad streatch of highway 401. The car costs $40 for a tank of gas. Train (which is really nice) for three people is about $200. Air Canada Jazz Dash 8, $700.
I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday.

Republic Airlines, but it doesn't appear on your list!
It was a DC-9, NOT an MD-11. And that was one of their newest airplanes!

when you say boot camp you mean the task of getting into and out of hartsfield right? i was warned before hand that it was a really bad airport, but when arriving there i had 3 mins to get to the gate before it closed for my connecting flight, well luckaly my connection gate was litterally 10 feet away:) and the flight was delayed 40 minutes
so i thought i would be fine for when i returned, ooooh little did i know how wrong i was, thanks to poor directions from some person and poor signs, i ended up getting lost, going to ever terminal and not beign able to find a single escalator to take you to the underground tram, i was lucky i had two hours, to finally crawl my way out:) theres a really funny artical on the place i will try to find it.

LOL...nope. In all the times I've flown in and out of ATL, I've never had a single problem, believe it or not.
By Boot Camp, I meant that's where I was headed, which is why I remember so many details. lol

My very first flight was on American, I can't remember the exact plane, probably a 727, from Phoenix-Chicago O'hare, I've made this fight many times in one direction or the other, on many airlines, generally whoever is cheapest at the time.

As I'm sure must have been mentioned here already - a poll wasn't the thing for this question - given that there are SOOOOO many airlines in the world
Mine was B.O.A.C (British Overseas Airlines Corporation)from London to New York in 1962 - Boeing 707 - & in those days kids got a hardback book about the airline & the airliner - a metal model of the BOAC B707 & something else too (maybe a pilot cap - can't remember that bit .. ) & I got a trip to the cockpit! Still remember it even though I was only 3
2nd was Pan Am from NY to RDU, NC - the same day.

Ah the memories...First airliner ever flown on was a USAIR 727 from Cleveland to Boston for the day, as a birthday gift from my father...We flew on a 737 on the way back, would give more detail but this was many moons ago!
Either way I had the time of my life!
