My very first flight was on American, I can't remember the exact plane, probably a 727, from Phoenix-Chicago O'hare, I've made this fight many times in one direction or the other, on many airlines, generally whoever is cheapest at the time.

I've only flown in small Cessna 152 & 172s! Shocked

I was once on a civil airliner aircraft at an international airport, but it was in for repairs and our family was given a small private tour Cheesy

As I'm sure must have been mentioned here already - a poll wasn't the thing for this question - given that there are SOOOOO  many airlines in the world Smiley

Mine was B.O.A.C (British Overseas Airlines Corporation)from London to New York in 1962 - Boeing 707 - & in those days kids got a hardback book about the airline & the airliner - a metal model of the BOAC B707 & something else too (maybe a pilot cap - can't remember that bit .. ) & I got a trip to the cockpit! Still remember it even though I was only 3 Wink

2nd was Pan Am from NY to RDU, NC - the same day.

Ah the memories...First airliner ever flown on was a USAIR 727 from Cleveland to Boston for the day, as a birthday gift from my father...We flew on a 737 on the way back, would give more detail but this was many moons ago!

Either way I had the time of my life!

1997 Glasgow to Palma with Airtours 757-200
2000 Glasgow to Corfu with Air2k  757-200
2000 Glasgow to Birmingham to Paris with BA A-319
2002 Glasgow to Lanzerote with Air2k 757-200

Airtours food wasn't to bad, Air2k was erm.... roadkill?
and BA gave us smoked Salmon 8)
BA and Air2k let me onto the flight deck, 2k let me stay up front from Germany to the Gate and the BA captain turned out to be my first instructor 8).

Pete my dad flew with BOAC in the 60's when he went to Canada, he got the book the model and a set of pilots wings that he still has.
