Multiplayer modem to modem prob (Read 230 times)

I love YaBB 1G - SP1!

I fly CFS2 over the modem with one other player. We get frequent crashes... any ideas. We both are using XP home with BCM V.92 56K Voicemodem. ???

Is your game crashing or are you dropping your connection with your friend? If you are dropping your connection with your friend, make sure that you both have "Call Waiting" disabled. How you disable it is by putting a certain number in the number you dial to your ISP. Most are *70 or *70, but check with your ISP or phone company to find out.

If your game is crashing, then that is another issue. But since you said a "Modem to modem problem", I am assuming you are just dropping a connection with your friend.

"Call Waiting" is disabled and after a plane shot down and plane crash (or collision) the screen goes back to ready room and says the other player has left the game. His computer says I left the game and it freezes up and we have to reboot. we have tweaked with the CFS2 cfg but to no good, mainly the
