I think we've all thought at one time "Man, if only I could build my own cockpit, then I'd have everything..."
It's a nice fantasy to have, but personally, I don't think I could justify it. In doing some research for the idea (because I really wanted to do it), I found out that those things cost tens and tens of thousands of dollars.
Why?
If you're able to scrape that kind of money together, just put it in a dish and use it for real world flight instruction?
Sure, those are expensive too. And I'm not saying that everyone should do that. But if you've only got the money to do one of the two, why fool around with a pretend airplane, IMHO...
Great edit, Bob.&&&&&&Google it. &&&&

Well could go to that airplane graveyard in the US or where ever you live, and get them to cut the cockpit off the front of an old plane and drag it home to ur garage and set it up....most of the work is done for you as well and mite be cheaper ???

If I had the money for a cockpit I'd spend it on getting a PPL. If you do build one Page, make sure you post some pictures, the one of your rudder set up doesn't seem to work.

Sorry to hear that the info on rudder pedals did not work Smoke
......As i said is one i found on the web and the person who wrote it said they worked ok
...well i had not tried it out myself but now i am going to have to try it myself (was going to do it later) ..But first i am going food shopping and when i get back i will try it out and let you know if or not it works for me....Oh you could go here Smoke and check this one out...
http://ftp.se.kde.org/pub/games/PC/flight-sim/uploads02/jan/
go down the list to the R and find this file rcbped.zip and download it annd check it out..it costs more $25 instead of $15 but is more complicated to build 8) hope this helps Smoke.....PS the site takes a little while to D/L if you have problems use Google and look for (rcbped.zip)

It's not the instructions that don't work, they seem fine. It's the picture that you tried to post.

Sorry Ozzy i misunderstood you
......Is Geocities i think playing around ... the only way i could get it was by putting the url in my browser ie cutting and pasteing it
.....
http://www.geocities.com/pk17tl/peds.JPG
; see if this works 8) just tried it clicking on url in this post but only gets as far as geocities site and no further is as if Simviation does not want to talk to geocites or the other way around
....perhaps someone in the forum knows the reason for this
8)
