Hi out there...
This is my first post so I am a real newbie on this forum.
For anyone that has the SimTECH Staggerwing, there is a huge FS2004 update on the way, in the meantime the FS2002 Staggerwing flies very well in FS2004.
As proof for that, take a look at these FS2K4 screenies...
Thanks SimTECH, for a great aircraft!

Hi Johan, and welcome to the forum! It's great to have new people come by and hopefully you'll stay for a while. I would suggest taking some time and browsing the different areas. Be careful of the Cafe though, someone might convince you to change your name to Ozzy! For the record though, you may have wanted to post this in the Payware screenshots forum. No harm, no foul...
P.S. That's a cool plane, I especially like the black version. Check the file library, and you'll find a real nice Dragon Rapide that's freeware and rivals any payware you could find!

Hi Pippin...
Thanks for the reply and yes, I think I'll stick around for a while!
Sorry about posting the shots in this forum, I wasn't aware of the Payware Screenshot Forum, thanks for pointing that out to me.
About that Dragon, that one is already in my FS2004 aircraft list, love this one.
However, I didn't like the panel that much so I replaced that with J.L. Stubbs's DH-89 panel.
It's a FS98 pit but it performs very well in FS2004.
I made some changes in the gauges, because today there are some gauges that are more "vintage" that the ones J.L. Stubbs used.
Anyway, looking at my age (I'm from 1950) I love those vintage aircraft.
My favorite is the North American T-6 and the number one aircaft in my FS2004 is Denis DaSilva's T-6. I fly that one with my own createwd photorealistic cockpitpanel.
Just 2D, don't know how to create a 3D one, but it is very nice for VFR, even for IFR!
Anyway, I'm glad I'm welcome on the forum!!!

Hey Mr. Bones...
Well, I'm from Tilburg, in the Netherlands. It's the 6th or 7th biggest town in the country, nearby Gilze-Rijen Air Base, a base with AH-64D choppers, and in the future ALL Dutch Air Force choppers will be stationed here, like the Chinook, the Cougar, and more.
Stationed on this base is also the Dutch Air Force Historical Flight and one of Denis DaSilva's T-6 Texans os modelled after one of this Historical Flight Harvards.
My name may be familiar, I've got some uploads available on flightsim.com and here on simviation, like a North American T-6 panel, a Piper Super Cub panel, I co-created a Fokker D.XXI WWII fighter some years ago and I delivered information and paintschemes to several builders to create Dutch Air Force paintjobs.
Take care and... greetings!
Johan

Hey #9...
Just love those DaSilva's T-6/SNJ aircraft.
They had a minor problem in the flight dynamics, due to a wrong fueltank configuration, which made the aircraft turn to the left after take-off.
Denis DaSilva had one center and one external tank in his aircraft.cfg file. But the T-6 has a 55 Gallon left and a 55 Gallon right wingtank in the center wingsection, so I have changed this tank configuration and now my T-6 aircraft are perfectly balanced.
I also use a photorealistic T-6 panel with seven extra views instead of DaSilva's panel. I created that panel, with digital pictures of a T-6 panel and plane as background bitmaps.
Unfortunately I do not know (yet) how to create a VC...
The panel is somewhere here at simviation (a 10+ MB file), as is the uploaded file with the edited fuel tank configuration, I think in FS2002 panels.
The T-6 is my number one favorite aircraft and I do hope that some day someone will create a really nice GMax T-6!
Take care...
Johan

Hi Bones...
Nice to see some Dutch on the forum (hartstikke te gek, cool, tof en meer van die gein) but I think I'll stick to English.
After all this is a International Forum, isn't it???
But it's good to know I'm not the only kaaskop on the forum!
De groeten...
Johan
