You may have to asign a tailhook in the cfg. file and or activate it in the controls menue. the comand however is shift+T, this may only show a visual difference on some models but if there is a tailhook entry in the cfg. it will work, provided you have arrcabs (now payware aka Flight deck 3).
Afterburners are activated by shift+F4 providing there is an entry in the cfg. file, visual differences depend on what efects are in the cfg or model files.
