Again - no point in voting...far too limited
- no interest in any of the above ...
Suggest you take a look at the top 50 successful bands(or people) of all time (strip out any who don't write their own music) & post the top 30 out of that for us to vote on ... 8)

I agree with Billy Joel but Sum41? Blink182? Those are bands that are already slipping out of the publics tastes.
Although I think that Pink Floyd is the best up there a selection of 20 or so to choose from would have been better.

Indeed it is. But it has been months since I heard one of their songs played on the radio which means that there 15 minutes of fame lasted about 2 years.
Pink Floyd however started in the 1960's and where still releasing and selling albums well into the 80's. I think thats better than Blink182 will ever achive.

Sum 41 makes very good,chaotic music,but i think their new album sounds a bit too "grown up".
