www.avhistory.org ; I went to check to see if there were any new downloads and it asked for a user name and password. Any idea how to get one? Is it going to be payware now? Or is it broke down?

I tried to go just a little bit ago as well, and I did a Yahoo search to get to the site.
One of the search results said:

AvHistory Donations
AvHistory.org Donations. Help Keep the 1% Dream Alive ... The AvHistory.org site has become so popular that we're now overwhelming the server we're on. ...

Wha?  I don't think it's going to be a subscriber site now... I think they're just having temporary server trouble.  I blame North Korea.  But they certainly have a right to ask for donations.
Oh yeah, this link as well prompted me for a password... it's almost as if their links are trying to get into an FTP server or something?
I could be completely worng... in fact, I probably am. Roll Eyes

Yes, AvHistory is down.

No, we've not been hacked.   Shocked

No we're not going payware. Smiley

Some thing has been crashing IIS on the Server for the last week. The ISP has traced it another site we share the server with.

Fixed the one site that brought us down, now a new problem has occured. Smiley What's that saying, "when it rains it pours" Smiley

We'll be back up soon!

gregoryp, ty, I was really kinda hopeing that it was just a small problem, and you'all were having tech trouble.

Im unhappy that these problems would happen to such a hard working bunch of peep, and I hope that things work out smothe for ya'll to get it back up and running.
