I know everything is about FS2004 right now, but I thought this was interesting so bear with me.
I was on my way to the top of a local mountain (Grouse Mtn. Vancouver, B.C.) when I noticed two things that I has never seen before. They are hard to spot from a distance but I just about plowed into both of them on this flight!
I added the last shot just because I liked it and if anyone has ever snowboarded on Grouse, the view will be familiar.
Enjoy
Eric

Thanks for the replies.
BTW - It's not FS2004, its FS2002!
But if that was sarcasim, then....my bad and this next comment will just make me look silly)
If that wasn't sarcasim then FS2004 has a long way to go yet.
Thanks again
Eric

Eric, can you remember the day, time and date when you found these? I'm scouring the area now but nothing to be seen. Do you have any add-ons in this area as well?
Cheers bud and nice pics.

Joker,
These objests (glider/helijet) are static and are always there. The helijet is at about 2300ft directly above what would be the 'Londsdale Key', if you know Vancouver. The glider is at about 3900ft directly above where the 'gondola' for Grouse is, near the top.
I am certain this came with some add-on though, because I have never noticed them and I have the Lower Mainland full of every freeware add-on there is out for this area. My best guess is that it came with the 'Vancouver Seaplane Bases Uprgrade Package'. Some of it is fictional and some of it is fairely accurate. It adds marinas, boats, helipads, freighter, etc. So I figure it added these two items as well. I will deselect this scenery and fly the same route again and let you know.
Thanks
Eric

Joker,
I flew it again with the add on scenery deselected and they were gone!!!!
It is a package called something like 'Vancouver Float Plane Base'. Adds some great little details to Vanc.
Sorry if you wasted your time doing circles up by Grouse Mtn. but I thought it was default at first as well.
Have a good one
Eric
