I've never tried multiplayer with FS2002 because of the slow dial up connection I have here. Imagine my surprise when I finally decided to give it a go and it umm, well, it worked with almost no jumpiness (a little at first and then it caught up and was smooth as silk). I actually got faster frame rates than I often do single player mode.

If you haven't tried multiplayer in FS2002 because of connection speeds, I suggest giving it a try. This is actually the first game I've had since I moved where dial up was the only connection available that works in multiplayer mode.

And once again it seems I'm informing someone of the "next level" for multiplayer...lol  I don't mind though...the more people up there, the better it gets!

LIVE ATC!

Yep, gonna have to give Vatsim a try. My inaugural was on Bush Net but I'm itching to try out real ATC. Just have to get a microphone headset somewhere.

Matt-

Not sure where you're at, but you can find a decent, inexpensive headset at most of your computer stores or even department stores.

I've got one at home that I've broken (not due to manufacturer's error...one I stepped on and the other I caught my size 13 in and ripped the cord out accidentally lol).  I've broken it twice, and I still continue to replace it with an identical headset.  I spent $20 at Wal-Mart, so its not even close to a top of the line piece.  But it's got great sound, and it's very comfortable on the ears.  Plus there's an inline volume/mic control, so that's always nice.

Can't remember the details of it right now, but I know it's a Labtech something something something.  lol
