This is Dave transmitting via E-mail from Crooked Lake. I just got to my cabin and the sun has set. Made a few friends around the campfire this evening. A real nutty bunch...all they spoke about was Aviation.
Hey...I just flew 250 miles............the last thing I want to think about is flight!
I need to jot their names down in my journal......

Mark "Ozzy" osbourne
Pete "gofer"
Ken "rifleman"
Wendy "Stormy"
Ramsa "Michael" 329
Joker "Nick"
Ken "tougne" Colicab
Andrew "NP"
Bman...
Crazy Craig
Brad......X.......Visitor
Kimber
Cherokee "Dean" 6
Frantic "Paul" Fozzer
Some dude with a patch over his eye....Argg...I tried talking to him a few times but he never had much to say?
Had a few words with some dude named "Maccers"...but I think we ironed things out!
Hawker "Spitfire" Tempest
This guy Bresnec who spoke about penguins all night!
Will "Smoke 2 much" and " his girl Sarah"...
Paz "The Rocker"
Grumpy "Hagar the Horrible"
A few had been here it seemed for eternity...Others were new to this place.......as the night went on,..we all were pretty close.

Most of these people seemed to live here...but didn't say much..

Any way, there was no coffee.....some good whiskey though.
It was a wonderful evening spent with freinds.

Dave, there's only one way to toast a marshmallow.....get it in flames then blow real fast....I was burnin' my fingers so I couldn't even think of a scary story.........I scare myself too much if I do anyway.............. Shocked

One question on the approach to Crooked Lake .......was it a "straight in" final or did you scribe a bent path in the air ?......after all, it is a crooked lake and I assumed the flight path in would demand a crooked descent ?  Roll Eyes
