Hi gizz;

I'm new at this too, but have a great
teacher,
Play with it , take the lessons, get to know
it and then start changing things around.
PaPa has been at it for years and still messes
it up real bad sometimes, There is a lot to
learn and if you make mistakes, it can be dis
hearting, and the people here are always ready
to help, this is like my other family!
Welcome!

Love

It really depends on what kind of flying you like, there is a good selection of Military, GA, Comercial, Rotary wing and vintage available here, at flightsim.com and at avsim.com.
aircraft I'd recomenad are:
DSB's Eurofighter (available here)
Cyril Pioffet's Gazell (http://www.hovercontrol.com/)
Dean Reimers CF-18 (available here)
737-200 (available http://www.yeodesigns.com)
and a Robin 400 (available here).

I'd recommend SPITFIRES!!! But its a personal thing Wink
From the front page here click on the downloads box on the left of the screen and then look through all the different categories. Everything here is FREE Grin So pick things you like and have a great time.
If you fancy a particular aircraft but can't find it pop a message in the Aircraft Wanted Forum and I'm sure one of us can guide you too one.

Happy flying.

Ignore the checkrides.  They'll frustrate you to no avail, and they're near impossible (due to bugs) to complete.

You'll be doing the procedure EXACTLY correct, and she'll fail you on the checkride.

The lessons are great, but the checkrides are terrible. Wink
