I took me a few months to get the feel for them...I kept dropping my sticks! As for the sound...I have worked with the TD-10 module for a couple years now and I can a very realistic and deep sound out of them...

Plus...try practicing with an acoustic kit when you have a baby in the house... Wink Wink

My son is a big Metallica fan, and has got himself an ESP KH502 just like Kirk Hammett plays. Makes a pretty good sound with it too.

i play trumpet in concert and jazz band, and i own both a Conn, and a vincent bach WW1 trumpet(used in the war) i have played a combo trumpet/french horn(mellophone) in marching band, it really sucks, never stays in tune.  im sure i could play the piano, i know all the keys, but i just havent put them together.  im thinking about learing to play harmonica and join in on one of my friends crazy idea to make a readneak blue grass bad(him on banjo, me on harmonica)

Today, I got a new snare drum for my drumset. Its a Pearl Signature Series, Eric Singer snare drum. It sounds so awesome. Need to try some different head on it to get the right sound.

btw, its 10 plys of maple wood and pretty darn heavy

Still have a nice PC but I just switched to a hella nice mac
