Hi,
I'm new to simviation. I've got FS2002 Pro and wondering if it is possible to change the ATC voice accents beyond those which are standard within the package. Does anyone know of where I can get my hands on different accents, i.e. UK / Irish, French, Spanish, Italian, German, etc.
Many thanks for any help/pointers.
Regards,

Wishful thinking.
It sure would be nice to talk to someone at Shannon Center that
doesn't
sound like an American news anchor.............

...actually....
I don't mind American accents* in Flight sims. They are crisp, clear, and to the point.
Also...
They also work very well in cartoons....

Now English accents....well...
...!
..."Right-oh chaps, you are nicely lined up with the runway, old beans,...don't forget the old flap thingies, and don't forget to put the wheelies down...arf...arf...catch you for drinkies later...over and out...".... 8)...!
Flippin' Bleedin' Norah...

I don't know, a Texas accent might be a little interesting:
"Howdy, ya'll! I'm Billybob and this here's Jimbob, and we're gonna be bringin' in all you flyboys, herenow! Allrighty, here's what yer gonna do.
Slide to yer right a tad, then push forward on that little thing 'tween yer legs . . . NO not that one, ya cornshucker! The one fer the plane!
Now ease 'er back just a bit . . ."
Don't know if you'd miss the cows or hit 'em!

lol
you guys got a point. I for one would have to restrict all my flying to the US if there were actually difference accents being used. Even though a lot of them are fun to listen to, I still don't understand everything being said
