Somewhere I read on this forum earlier tonight about a post concerning a slow down of the PC and or FS. It was regarding a certain Windows XP Upgrade Patch that is downloaded by the windows auto update and seemed to have a negative impact on PC and / or FS Performance.
Within this post a member of this forum had identified the Q no. of the offending update and kindly posted it here for all to see, now in complete eagerness to see if I had got that particular update installed I went over to control panel, just as I was pulling up the Add and Remove panel I suffered a power outage (Due to over eager movement of the keyboard resulting in one's finger pressing down on the Keyboard PC Shutdown Button! Undecided

).
I cannot find this Post again for love nor money, would anyone who knows of this post or knows of the particular offending Update pls head me in the right direction by responding to this post?

Nope unfortunately that isnt the one Sad

Thank you anyhow, I did actually find that earlier when ozzy posted.

It was a thread about FS related performance and a certain XP Automatic Upgrade that really stuffed the system. The Person actually gave hte Q Number of the particular Upgrade culprit... I have just made another search for this darn post and I cant find it now Sad

Oh Well... thank you all anyhow.
