After being offline for a few days, I noticed that the Penguin gif had been removed.
My thanks to 'the powers that be' for leaving it up for the couple of days that they did, so it could be enjoyed by the masses
Thanks

Well Brensec, it would have been nice to have it up, However, it was too large and was breaking the rules.
Remember, if Pete allowed one person to do it, he would have had to let everyone.

Hence my reason for acknowledging the special consideration afforded this particular........errant indulgence.

It was probably better that it was taken off. I kept giggling all the time, and making 'typos' and ended up spending twice the amount of time it would normally take to read and post here.

Its a case of gone but not forgotten. I think the penguins have definately entered the SimV realm of legend!
Oh and I kept a copy on my PC, 'cos my wife loves them. She laughs her head off when I play them

I tried to before I uploaded it last week. I opened it up in 'Infranview', which is the picture editing program I have (the one recommended in the SimV upload section) and the 'resize' option does not come up for GIF's.
I don't know how to resize this type of file if it can't be done in Infranview.
Besides, it's 444 kb. How small would it be to get it down under 100 kb?

Wouldn't hurt to try though. Animation shop 3 lets you resize 'em among other things to get the size down.
