This isn't even close, I've seen a thread that got to 10 pages, and had to be closed off and an extension made, which ran to another 11 pages.... Long way to go yet Scott 8)
Oh and 2/3rds of the Spit crew are registered (I think Will will put his name down when he gets home from work, poor bloke).

I have just been thinking, Regarding the issue of statics. If we were to have a break after every two or three displays we could show some static displays then and it wouldn't affect us pilots

I don't think each performance would be "that" long, and the whole show would probably be done in a matter of a few hours. Especially if only a handful of us have signed up.

True enough. I'm not sure how long the Spit display will last, we're doing our first 3 man session tonight....
How long should our display last Mitchel?
Also what happens if a pilot wants to do several different things? Just I was chatting with Rifleman and we're looking at doing a biplane display too.... And maybe some heavy stuff.........
So lets say for arguements sake that each pilot wants to do two sets that is going to change the numbers a fair bit.

There is no set time for the display, just as long as it takes.
Sure you can do more than one thing, You can do as much as you want. I am thinking of doing some flyovers in a TU-144 and then some aerobatics in the patroulle de france formation. I think I might een do more than that

I would definitely recommend either a time limit or an agreed upon number of performances. Otherwise, this thing could end up dragging on for days.
Perhaps beforehand, those running the show could get finalized itineraries from all pilots, that way they'll know what to expect.

Good news, the Spitfire boys are getting it together. We've been flying flat out all over South East England all evening, Sarah even invited us to land in their garden and pop in for a whiskey and coke.
We're getting formations slowly, the low-level game of it was a gas, then Roger picked a fight with a house
We bingo'd to Lakenheath when we realised we were flying on the smell of an oily rag.
Think we'll be ready soon. Another training session tomorrow evening
Anyone wishing to join a Spitfire madness session tomorrow evening send me a message. It'll be on a first come first served basis.
Can't wait.
