ROFL, what a mess up, and hard turn lol! Where did you get the panel with the TCAS there? Isn't it? or a gauge very alike ( VATSIM TCAS because of the stars it has)?

Yeah, it was a messup allright..partly my fault b/c bad FMC programming..but after some dramatic minutes and a holding pattern (yeah, I'm the goose who clogs up the traffic  Grin  ) later I touched down on  the asphalt of Landvetter's rwy 21.

And regarding the panel, it's the panel for Precision Manuals Boeing 737-600. It has all the functional instruments of a regular B737...except for a TCAS might I add  Smiley
Those blue dots on the Nav.display are airports and Vor stations.

I'd like to try VATSIM, but I don't think I'm prepared for that yet, but that's really something I want to do  Smiley

Coo.. As to VATSIM, anyone can be ready for VATSIM. The air traffic controller are real nice people and you can always fly VFR. Message me on MSN sometime so we can talk about it! MSN, Yahoo, ICQ or AIM Grin

I remember the first time I got on VATSIM,nobody had told me you can't connect on the runway. My first communication with anybody was "Get off the runway".lol.So,if you're gonna try it then learn from my mistake.haha.
I wouldn't recommend flying online with something with an FMC until you can program it offline because the controller may change the DP/STAR on you and you don't want to have to work that out in the air.lol.Like AstroGeek says, try VFR till you get the hang of it,but just get on because when you actually get on the learning curve is pretty high.

Lmao, I've started one the runway in some online flights before, some people weren't too happy as they wanted to do things "properly". Tongue

I don't really understand the whole Vatsim thing, you just join an online game, and you use a communication program thing to listen to real ATC peeps? Grin...sounds pretty cool.

Its really cool actually having a real person doing ATC instead of that useless FS one.lol.I've recently (well, about the beginning of the year) started ATCing too,and thats very addictive-I'm doing more ATC than flying lately!!

Nothing more satisfying than executing a perfect manual ILS approach in crosswind to have someone join the flight on the runway......grrrrrrr........  Grin

As real as it gets........
