Just thought I would share a small, but very effective, tweak I discovered the other day.

I was averaging about 20fps with all settings maxed and a clear sky.  Any clouds killed my frame rates...but then in my card settings I turned on 8x Anisotropic Filtering and now I average 30pfs with very little drop from clouds!  I couldn't belive my luck.

It stopped stuttering over areas of heavy flak too... Wink

So, in your graphics card settings turn Anisotropic Filtering all the way up.  If it doesn't work, you can always just turn it off again, but it made a huge difference to my game. Wink
