I'd just stop off in Honolulu for refueling. You can inflight refuel buy going into the fuel menu and filling the tanks manually.
I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday.

Right, you can do that, but it's unrealistic for a cargo flight to mid-air near Honolulu, and even more unrealistic to do it by the menu. If you fuel up in Honolulu even by connecting, you miss taking advantage of the shape of the Earth. Because both cities are in the same hemisphere, you can cut north to decrease the distance traveled (did i get this right?). Singapore Airlines flies from VHHH to KSFO nonstop, I'd guess in a B777 (MAYBE a B744), flying a few hundred miles south of Alaska (USA). It's a shorter distance than going in a straight line from VHHH-KSFO.
United Airlines has flights from VHHH-KSFO connecting in NRT (Tokyo/Narita), which also takes advantage of the curve of the Earth, in their B744's.
Will someone check up on this?

I believe this is the same reason that eastbound flights from American "gateway" cities such as Newark travel up across Greenland....
As for refueling at an airport, I read in a recent thread that if you pull up to the yellow square on the ramp with a black box inside it, you'll get refueled...I haven't done this myself though, so I'm not sure how accurate it is.
Might be a bit more realistic than refueling via the menu...
Great edit, Bob.&&&&&&Google it. &&&&

Very true, although not entirely realistic in this particular flight.

I've recently read another review of CoF that said the fuel stations in the new version are much more realistic...and the screenie I saw seemed to agree.
