i dont know if anyone here saw it last night(UK viewers) or if you have seen it in the past?
i thought it was a great insight to the series and also a little surprising the crew hated shatner for a point actually i am not surprised. i personally have to say i was absolutly disgusted that they put james doohan on the show in the state he was in, it was just really sad to see a guy who used to be a great character in scotty, was only a few years back in generations, and can now barely speak a few words. i really think they could have just said he was to ill to go on the show. but they had to put him on there for all of a few lines.
questions comments?Smiley
Cheers
Craig

Hi Craig... Grin...!
Watched it last night, excellent.
William Shatner is a comical so-and-so....
...he's always got a twinkle in his eye..He makes me laugh when he's larking around... Grin...!
Leonard Nimmoy is always too serious, but then he was in the series.. Cry...!
Lieutenant O' Houra, (with the big boobies), looked good!
Poor old "Scotty" he didn't look too good, but it was nice to see him again... Wink...!
The rest of the crew haven't changed much...just a bit fatter...LOL..!
...and they are all doing well at the "Star Trek" conventions...!!!

I always preferred the first series, with them in it, it was good for it's time... 8)...!

Cheers all... Grin...!

I missed it last night but have it on tape. I'm not at work tomorrow (should be away for a nice long weekend but the car was a bit sick!) so I'll watch it then.

i do have to agree about shatner Mr Fozzer, he really is funny.
i have found lenord nemoy to be a funny actor to,
all in all though i liked that cast in the movies more than the series.
of the lot george takei has to be the most versitile, in terms of what he has done. he has that unknown quality "IT" as it were for acting. he just comes across as a great actor but also a very intelligent person along with it.
i still feel it was wrong to have scotty on there, he def goes down as my fav actor of the lot, and last time i saw him on tv was generations when they filmed the bit where kirk is "killed" or transported by the nexus, and there he looked perfectly healthy a little podgy:) but then to see him like that, its like a hit in the gut i felt

What was the name of this program? I'll keep an eye out for it here.

Obvious Doohan is not long for this realm. Sad, I like them all, as people and actors. I think, particularly, Nimoy can be very funny. I've seen him in movies where he hasn't been the serious character that we are all familiar with. He did a couple of appearances on the Simpsons, so he must have some kind of sense of humour.

It was sad when McCoy left us. It was ALMOST, (I say almost) like losing a Beatle..........?? Cry Cry

Do you mean there is someone out there who didn't know what a joke Shatner is?  Man, all you have to do is watch the camp sing-along in ST 5 and you could pretty much guess it.  That guy has been the butt of Star Trek since he tried singing 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds back in the sixties.  After ST 5  a letter writing campaign took place.  This one wasn't to save Star Trek though, it was people saying that if Shatner ever directed another movie they would never watch Star Trek again.

BTW, did everyone here know Michael Dorn (Worf) flies jets as a hobby?  He owns a T-33... Cheesy

Yep. I saw him last year, in a History Channel 'Century of Flight' Doco. He was advising about what to look for in a 'second hand' jet, and what 'pitfalls' to avoid.

He and John Travolta are apparently pretty chummy.  Grin Grin Wink

Shatner may be a joke - but he sure made a lot more money than most of us.
