I'm getting confused here....
...!
but...
...wasn't Sock's original post enquiring about fitting guns to re-stored aeroplanes...?
Like fitting a Browning machine gun, etc, to a restored SE 5A bi-plane...?
Do these guns have to be blanked-off so that they cannot fire live rounds, (or even blanks)...?
Cheers all..
...!
Paul.
(England).
That was what my first post was about. the issue seemed to be alternating between 'installing' guns on a plane and 'taking' guns onto a plane.
I think the original topic was about fitting guns to restored aircraft, but everyone just went into the gun law business.

According to the Ozzy English Dictionary....
Gun; device for sorting out the neighbours annoying cat when it is keeping you awake at night with its love life.
Also should be allowed to be used on Volvo/BMW/Mercedes drivers by motorcyclists, oh and people that use their mobile phone whilst driving! Jerks
Ozzy
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Ya got it all wrong Foz!
Texans get excited about "Big guns" alright.
But they get even more excited about "Bigguns"
Will provide an explanation of the difference in the two terms if needed for you Yankees upon request!
Ozzy - will post tank story for you tomorrow. It probably isn't that good now - but what we were smoking at the time made us laugh at just about anything.
