Question:

I downloaded a beautiful airbus a340 and a boing 767. Both planes shut down everytime I load the game. Suddenly the power goes out and the engines turn off. I try to restart the engines and they go off in a few seconds. Whats going on? It seems like these special complicated panels seem to be doing it. how can i fix it?

You also might want to check the Fuel Condition levers if there's fuel in the tanks. I tried for an hour trying to start the Cessna Caravan once when it did that. Found that I had the Condition Lever in the Cut Off position.  Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed

try crtl+shift+f4

that's the shortcut for putting the mixture levers at max
on jetliners, it works for opening the fuel valves Wink

There are others out there you need to switch your tanks on or they'll die on you in about 20secs.
I can't remember exactly which ones  because I haven't used any in a while but its worth knowing about.
I don't recall a problem with restarts or electrical outages tho'.

Grin Grin Grin  The AerMacchi MB339 that I have does that.  On loading its running and after about 20 secs or less it shuts down.  I find if I power up and get moving it wont shut down and it will start with Auto Start but it is a little annoying when I like to just load, look around and go.
