June 9th 1944;  D-Day+3:  OK, boys, the army has taken beaches in France is progressing smoothly.  We are to escort a squadron of bombers over to Berlin and back today.  Takeoff is at 05:00 and you will wait for the bombers over the Dutch coast.  Altitude is Angels 15.  Expect haevy flak over Berlin and watch out for 109s.  Jerry will have Berlin heavily defended.

Ready to go at 04:58:

The Brits were called Redcoats or Lobsterbacks by the U.S. back during the Revolution. The Brits called us Yankees and Tommies. Wow. 7th grade history really pays off! Wink Where'd you get that '51?

The planeis default CFS3.  Repaint from Simviation.

The Mustang isn't as good as the Spitfire or even the Hurricane for combat IMHO.  But then again, a Spit or Hurri couldn't get to Germany and back. Roll Eyes
