Kinda confusing, you saying you want to know how to get at max speed without losing altitude? If so, just takeoff without going in any direction, and just ai your nose little bit downward, you'll start gaining speed and just keep it at that pitch.

Instead of a military plane, try a civil plane, go into a steep drop, and before it overstresses, pull back up while going at full speed. If not just turn crashes off.

Somewhat, when you land at an airport, the only way you can refuel, is to go under your plane, and set your fuel to full again. No little guys come and help you out.
