Hi, im in the middle of converting my old x45 stick to a helicopter cyclic, ive cut the wires and have attached a pole to it so it comes from the ground, the only problem is is that, what was a small movement on the stick is huge when on the pole. I had planned on buying resistors with less movement and reduce the movement of the pole so as to still get full tracking in the game.

Has anyone else made there own cyclic?, ive seen the instrcutions on stves heli controls, but thats a completely different system as to what I wanna do.

Anyone have any ideas about reducing the cyclic movementor any helpful insights.

Cheers
Alan

Hi
A quick fix would be to under calibrate the stick making it less sensitive pop over here
http://www.wingmanteam.com/latest_software/gadgets.htm
and grab the DXTweak2 program It works with all sticks and is a must for all flightsim and experementers:)
another site to try is www.stickworks.com thay have some neat apps as well

regards

Cheers for those will have a look at them, I also read somewhere that the fsuipc module can be used to change the movement of the stick.
