I know this has probably been asked before but I can't find any postings related to it.

How do I set up for an ILS approach on FS2002 on a standard IFR flight for example ?

Thanks,
simon

Enter the ILS frequency for your allocated runway into your Nav1 radio and make sure the little NAV/GPS button is set to NAV.  When the localizer starts to center, begin a turn to intercept...once you're in line, you can set the AP to follow the glipescope until flare height for you.  Just set your heading indicator to the runway heading and activate the Aproach switch in the AP controls. Wink

Simple as that. Smiley

Thanks Whitey, just one more query. What's the easiest way to get the ILS frequency for the runway which I'm approaching ?

Sorry, forgot about that... Wink

Click the Flight Map button on your panel...its one one of the little buttons like the GPS one.  Click on your airport on the map and if the airport has ILS facilites, you'll get the frequency next to the ruway number. Wink
