A web site dedicated to car crash photos? A bit morbid don't you think.

Anyway, about the car, up here that's called another day on the way into work.  8) Ontario main highway, the 401, is one of the most dangerous in North America. The problem is that it is the only main highway going from Detroit to Montreal (too many trucks) making it very busy, and people drive at rediculous speeds. During police blitzes, people have been caught doing over 160kph, the limit is only 100kph.

I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday. I've been there a few times, that 250 is rather sad. I'm sure the next owner will fix it up and treat it with a little bit more respect!

Oh man, the Donkervoort photo's are horrible, i wonder if the driver survies a crash in those things anyway.

The range rover looks not so bad... the thing which he hit probably looks a lot worse

This one is hilarious

those plastic panels make it look a lot worse than it really is. as long as the frame is OK, you just replace the panels.

Ivans' photo reminds me of pitting for a M/C road racer.
The track we went to goes over a hill and you don't know any thing is wrong until you see the yellow flags or your guy doesn't come over the hill in X amount of seconds.
It's a heart stopper but the aftermath is the longest.
Every time I see a crash photo I mentally measure the human cost and hope 'whoever' walked away.

It makes you think...
Which insurance company would insure someone like that to drive exotic supercars (when i cant get insurance on a super-mini)? more over who has the money to throw away on another Zonda after crashing the first?

what you got to remember is if you can afford these cars, paying a little more on insurance to get it, isnt going to matter, corvettes run i believe at about $25,000 to $30,000 new. and then the other end of the scale the XJ220 ran at about £800,000 when it was first introduced, insurance at a few thousand isnt gonna matter really:)

Yeah, I remember seeing an unraced 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO go for $12,000,000 at auction once.  At the time it was the highest price ever paid for a car.  As far as I know, it still may be.  It is one of those cars that just look perfect.  I could sit and look at the real thing (I've only seen two in real life) for hours.
