hello,
I have been wanting to post some pics for a long time but i cant figure out how to turn a bitmap image into a jpg image.  The pics are in 800x600 but the file size is way to big because they are bitmap.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What ever photo program you have
should give you the opition to save
in what ever format you want, just
move the pic to photo program, resize
and save as jpg!!

You can usually just change the name of the file extension also.  Instead of having Mustang.bmp simply change the name to Mustang.jpg  If you cannot see the file extensions, open any folder, go to tools, and select folder options.  Once there look under 'Hidden Files' and uncheck 'Hide Extensions for known objects'  Now you can just change the name to whatever.  This doesn't always work for every type, and it's certainly not the norm.  Wink
