hi everybody and happy fourth..(US people)

when flying Dino Cattaneo f-14 in conjunction with arrcab, does one need to lower the tailhook to catch cables and if so how is that done?

thanks in advance!

it will depend of your aircraft. some lower the hook when you downed al the flaps other when you pull out speed break or other do it manually. if it is manual you will have to define a key in the settings.

If you're using ArrCab, you don't really need to use the hook. ArrCab will effectively catch anything.
(A little different with taildraggers, though).

Most tailhooks are deployed using the speedbrake/spoiler button. But, it does depend on the aircraft.
