This idea just came into my head the other day, and I decided to go and fly in some far-off exotic locations....well its exotic from someone who will probably never got to this part of the world.......
New Zealand.........what a thought, especially since they are gettin' into winter about now and should have some different scenery due to their geographical location.....so far south ........well , here is a bit of what I saw....
It sure looks like a nice place to visit on the South Island........just sit back and let me take you on a journey to the south...........

Beautiful, these shots are fantastic this is a very nice place for a scenic flight.

To me it looks like a T-6 trainer, what the Navy trained in before they flew the Corsairs during WW2.
I noticed it said Kissimmee on the side of the plane. If it's the same plane I'm thinking of, then a friend of mine actually flew that plane out of Kissimmee.
Any more info as to that plane? Also where can I get that version? I live in Florida by the way, and work at Disney.
I see that same plane flying all over the place at Disney doing tours of the area.

Mark.....this is the work of the DaSilva boys ....Ramsa brought it to the front about two weeks ago and I fell in love with it.........You can get it here....
http://www.fs98fabmil.hpg.ig.com.br/projeto2/projeto2.html
.... it may have a misalignment in the upper and lower wing textures which shows on the lead egde as a notch on the red stripes. I have that error corrected for myself, but the files are 4+1 meg to address the wings and upper fuselage stripes................
I'll correct the one shot in question from an edit to a reg shot once I get my machine back up online.....(pwr supp failure today)......, I wasn't thinking when I squinted and got that effect............
And for the ID of this A/C.....its a US Navy Designation and not an AirForce one....
US Navy= SNJ-6
US AirForce = AT-6
RCAF and RAF= Harvard..........

It should be GREEN grass this time of year (winter)! Hopefully FS2004 will correct the season anomaly for the southern hemisphere.
This is YBDG (Bendigo) from 7,500ft taken yesterday by me. NZ should be similar at this time of year. In winter we have green grass (generally speaking, although most of the country is in drought) & get brom/no grass in summer!!!!!!
(Forum moderators: I do realise this belongs in the photo's forum, but it is placed here for comparison purposes only).
