I'm not sure this is the right place for this question but here it goes anyway:
Why am I getting those little red X's where pictures are supposed to be on webpages and emails? I have 'show pictures' enabled in my settings.
It's not all the time either but often enough for me to wonder what the heck is going on, here's an example:
If I read a thread on this message board and back out of it, all the icons on the main page of the forum will be red X's unless I refresh the page, this didn't used to happen. Also if I get an email that includes pictures like the one from Surclaro, all the places where pictures should be are X's.
  Any ideas?

Eveyone gets those. It may be a case of the web server being busy or the images haven't been uploaded properly.

I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday.
