For some bizarre reason.......... when I have gotten awarded the various certificates/licences in MSFS2002......... they won't print.  They show on screen.... but I can't get a hard copy.

It gets sent to the printer....... but the printer "chokes" on them.  And unlike most documents that fail to print in XP....... when you re-boot the next time it does not print out of the que.

The printer is a HP Laserjet 1100 and is set up on this machine although it is shared as a network printer on my home/business network.  Pretty much it works FINE out of other applications.

Any thoughts??????

best,

...................john

PS:  Yes..... latest drivers are installed  Wink.

Your bloody computer is more annoying than mine!

I've never had problems myself but I take a screen shot of them and keep that for posterity instead.

Good luck.

<cough, cough> The actual certificates can be found in your EIRES foolder inside your main FS2002 folder.  Send to an editor and stick your name on it and print it out. Wink  You didin't here it from me, though...<cough, cough>

Thanks all for the replies.

I never THOUGHT of the screen shot route.  DUH!!!!!

And the direct editing of the original file didn't occur to me either.

But I'd really like to find out what the printer issue really is too.  It shouldn't DO that.

Yes Will........ threre are some unique issues  Wink.

best,
