I got the B-25 on and off the carrier, but if you guys want the secret for launching or landing on a short carrier deck.....here it is.....
Using weather, place a high wind down the length of the deck to aid in the airspeed for your A/C.....that way your ground speed will be lower as you keep flying speed where you need it...
I have landed some small light planes while travelling backwards relative to the ground.........set the wind to match your landing or launching heading...........
I thought someone would have already picked up on this and mentioned it by now.........it works......after all, its the way that Dolittle got his departure for Japan to work........

Well I discovered it a while back trying to see how severe I could get the weather. Turns out you can hover a 747 quite easily. I suggest you try it.

...............................eeek, that just creeps me out..........the passengers would crack: "hmm, i hear the engines roarong but we are not going anywhere" Can someone post some screenies of it? You know what else? there should be a saved video clip uploaded for other people to check it out.

have you ever tried stalling the Lago F-16?
in a vertical climb?
it goes a LOOOOOOOOONG way then stops for a while in midair. I know this cuz i had the smoke wingtips on and the smoke kept coming out in the same place
