If carrier-based, does that mean that you will go to different aircraft (Panther?) or the Navy version of the F-86; the "Fury" I think it was called. BadBud

The next one will feature the Panther. Check out my link. I think the FJ-3 Fury was too late for service in Korea.

The usual cause of this problem is missing aircraft. Make sure you installed all the aircraft from Pack 1 correctly. If you use the auto-install it should work fine.

Yes Craig, I believe they used the Banshee in the James A. Mitchener novel the film was based on. In fact Mike & I used my own Banshee in our CFS1 version of it. http://www.simviation.com/cfs1missions4.htm
This was modified from a Mike Hill FS5 source file & was my first successful attempt at aircraft design. Although it's primitive by today's standards, I'm still proud of it.  Wink

Yes, I believe you're right. I was also toying with the idea. J-P Demmerle posted the source files for several variants of his Banshee at FFDS. We might have been using the same one. I put mine on the back burner when I noticed someone else had the same idea. There's only so many hours in a day. LOL Wink

Well done Craig. Thanks for confirming that it all works as advertised.  I hope you enjoyed our efforts.
It's a dynamic campaign so things might well be different next time you try it. Wink

I have a tiny bit of a problem I suppose. Basically there isn't a cfs2.CFG file. I searched on the "for files or folders" thing aswell but to no avail. There is a file called cfs2.ICD but it doesnm't appear to work with notepad, so I'm not really sure what I can do to stop the exploding jets phemonena from occuring....sorry if I'm sounding stupid at this current moment in time.

Thanx in advance for any helpful suggestions!

Ironwinggg. It must be there or CFS2 wouldn't run. How files display in Windows Explorer depends how your "Folder Options" are set. The CFS2.CFG file might display simply as CFS2. There might well be other files which display with the same name. I strongly advise you to read this & set the Folder Options to display all file extensions. http://www.simviation.com/lair/windows.htm
If that doesn't do it, right-click on the file named CFS2 & select Properties. This should confirm the full file name complete with the CFG file extension.

Please tell me if this helps.

PS. I just took this shot of my own CFS2 to show you where CFS2.CFG is located. Yours might have a different icon as mine is associated with Notepad.
