If I remember correctly just copy the .air file into the rigth aircraft folder, but remember to back up the originals.  Say if you copy b25d_mitchel.air into the B-25's folder you can now fly it.  Again don't forget to back up the originals.

Flyboy;

I think that it is a replacement "air" File
for each of the AI planes

open my computor
open C
open program files
open microsoft games
open CFS2
open aircarft

open the AC you want to change
and paste the new air file then
tell it to overwrite
I alway make a "zip file' of any AC
I make changes on,

This is an excellent way of backing up. If it's an aircraft don't leave the zipfile in the AIRCRAFT folder. Not sure if it's the same in CFS2 but I discovered in CFS1 this causes a duplicate menu entry. I'm wondering if it would also count towards the CFS2 "100 plane" limit.  Roll Eyes

Please don't apologise X. I remember it took me a while to figure out the cause of those duplicate entries. Wink

I learned a lot of this FS the hard way,
as I'm sure you did, and like you, I try
to help, as you would your children, so
others don't have to fight the same battles
alone!!
I knew better and just forgot to say it,
I have learned so much at Simviation
FS'ing is agin a great sport!!
