Here's a beautiful freeware SNJ-6. One of my favorite planes of all time.

She's seen here flying around a great new freeware scenery called Harvey Field in the state of Washington and than later over some payware scenery in the same area by LAGO.

Thanks for your replies,

The plane is freeware and some versions of it are available here at simviation.

This repaint, to my knowledge, is only available at the designers website:
  http://www.fs98fabmil.hpg.ig.com.br/projeto2/projeto2.html

ATI_Pro,

I wish that I could get 16x AF unfortunately my video card will only allow 8x and that's just barely.

My FSAA is generally set around 4x unless the frame rate hit is too high than I'll reduce to 2x.

The clarity to distance is achieved through manipulation of the Fs2002.cfg file and some other tricks that I use.

Inspiration objective, accomplished..........download completed..........with thanks !  8)  Wink
Fine shots as usual.......
I did however send this image with an explanation to the designers to see if they can address what appears to be a mis-alignment of the upper and lower wing surface coverings.....

Great shots there Ramsa, I love the last 2, they are awesome.  I have liked this plane alot ever sence the first time I have seen it.

Very good Ramsa.

Rifleman, you are very observant, almost to observant.  I think you should start making aircraft to see how good you are at it, I will point out EVERY little thing that is wrong with it.

Not meaning to make you mad.

I hope you didn't think I was just nitpicking.....I have been a printer for 25 yrs and see more than the average person when it comes to graphics.....I love the work done by these two brothers and carefully worded my findings to them....indeed, they do fine work and only wanted to make a beautiful piece of work, look its best ............

Actually I have done one or two repaints for my own use, and was very happy to hear that I never did it right the first time.....I had this very same trouble with mine until I started to use a grid on my work....its easier that way, for me to get the symetry necessary for matching up, without mirroring....you can use that(mirroring) if you like but you will still have to reverse any text after the fact........corrections are the things that make everything in life, a little better........I welcome constructive criticism.....after all, how do any of us get better if we just "make do" and not strive for the potential best that someone else can see in our work ?

Now, back the the original thread....
These fine shots of Ramsa have no bearing on the original work....As usual, Ramsa brings us things we may not otherwise see........Thanks again...... 8)  Grin

fspirate seems to have gotten their dirty hands on it also... but it could be a repaint

Rifleman,

This time I have to agree with you it has always been my policy to tell designers when problems occur and I have found that they usually like the feedback.

I hope that I'll see some more textures for this beautiful model.

I have to admit that I was so excited about finally having one of these that I didn't even pay any attention and just flew and flew.

I  can understand how you were mezmerized into flying....I never saw those little notches on my first views of this fab plane.....I came back a few times to see it as I wanted to be sure of what I was downloading ....
I modified the wing texture file and now have those red stripes fitting on my version.....upon closer examination, I also found and corrected the fuselage stripes....they were off in the same manner, top and bottom.....

The two files are 1 + 4  ....total of five megs....I'll try to use e-mail, but it may be large, especially if you are on dial-up.......I usually use ICQ for file transfers larger than 1 meg........
