hey hey!!! the airshow is on the 26, 27, & 28 of this month, as of now im gonna be there.....dunno about u guys but i know of a couple who live in the GTA *cough**cough*Ranger21*cough**cough*Orenda*cough* Roll Eyes

i will be watching this post, post here if you are coming, maybe we can get together or sumthing Grin

Yeah, I envy you guys and your European Airshows. We have Osh Kosh and Reno, but I don't think it could hold a candle to Paris...

Hey Kev.......if you read the subject line on this thread carefully, you'll see that this Airshow is just a little north of the US....this is London, Ontario....half hr north of Cleveland in a DC-9, or thereabouts.......

Yeah, I got that... I meant comparing air shows from one side of the puddle to the other. My dream vacation would be a trip to the Paris show, that's all. Grin

Now that I read on, it's awfully expensive. At the CNE, for that price you get the airshow along with their vast array of other attractions. Security sounds a bit obsessive as well. I'm sure nobody is going to try and blow up a plane while the USAF is there, unless they want to rot in Guantanemo.

By the sounds of it this air show should be better than the one at CNE. Except that the Red Arrows are not there. I really want to go but I'm leaving for the States on Firday with my parents. Its too bad, I have my SLR camera ready with my zoom lens which should be great for pictures, and pictures for the forum.

You are lucky, the local airshow here in Central New York got cancelled due to lack of aircraft! The couldn't get enough aircraft for static display as most are currently deployed. The Blue Angels, Thunderbirds and Snowbirds were already booked. Attempts to get an Italian team failed so they decided to cancel. It better be awesome next year. Angry
