I have this problem with merging the wing and the fuseleg... I hope you can help:
I want the wing to merge smoothly with the fuselage... how do I do that?
Do I need to design the wing again?

Never having seen such a pattern of jaggies before, would it be possible to take another screen shot with edges turned on? I suspect you have two very dense meshes and the first step might be to optimize the shapes.
I'd recommend using the blend tool. The help file contains a pretty detailed description on how the tool works and how to use it.

Hi,
yes... every thing is posible
Could you also explain how exactly the optimize modifier and the blend tool works?
Thanks a lot,

Sorry for taking so long to reply - I had to fly 1,300 miles to get back to my home computer.
One reason you couldn't look up blend is that it's not a Gmax modifier. My mistake.
You need to create a "Connect"
Prepare the two objects to be connected by creating an opening in each object. Do this by deleting faces. Line up the two objects in their proper positions to each other.
Select one of the objects you want to connect. Now go to the create tools and click on compound objects. Click on "Connect"
Click on "Pick Operand" - Then click on the object you want to be connected to. A connection is created.
By adjusting the parameters you can determine how rough or smooth you want the connection to be.
Hope this helps. Sorry about the mix-up in the terms. I was operating purely from memory, which is why pilots are taught to use check lists.

Nice touch -
The only caveat that I would make is that it then joins the parts together. In this case the wing and the fuselage become one part.
which of course, on second thought, is immaterial because you can immediately select polygons and detach them to make the parts separate again...
