I've always said that if more than one person seems to be telling you the same thing, you might want to consider listening to them.

Trust me when I say that I understand your frustration with the check rides.  It wasn't until recently that I finally came here for help getting past the private check ride myself.

The advice I was given was as follows:  Screw the check rides.  There's a bug in the programming that will really start to irritate/frustrate you.

Aside from that , welcome to SimV and to FS2002.  It's a great program.  If you're interested in flying for a virtual airline, or if you've got any other questions that you can't seem to find answers for, feel free to email me at operations@flyhyperion.tk

Good luck!

Onwards & Upwards indeed. A good metaphore for FS  Wink

As you will soon learn - there are several things that may be wrong in FS but you also learn to take the broad view.

Overall MSFS is a hell of a thing. Unique & unmatched in any other PC field I can think of. A virtual world is being created here. We're a bit into it & there's a long way to go & yes, there will be mistakes along the way. But aren't there mistakes in the real world? Philosophically, absolutely. We are fundamentally flawed & naturally that comes out in what we produce. MS is no exception.

Again - the broader picture.

FS2004 will be out soon. Maybe your situation can be addressed there. Meanwhile compensate & put the frustration aside. Fill the gaps. Move on - & you may find those gaps are mere distant irrelevant memories Cheesy

Think Global. It's the world we live in.

I was just sitting here finishing up my work week, and I happened to think...I hope Gilbates didn't take my original message as one full of animosity and rude-ness.  Honestly, none intended.  lol
