Looks like our last free access to approach plates (Echo Plate) is now by subscription - so, for those who have tried them, is it better to subscribe to Echo Plate, or to go to a Jeppesen CD package, or is there something else available?

Hi.

Maybe try going to your local GA airport and see if there is a shop there that has such stuff.

I just picked up the NY Sectional and the Northeast Approach Procedures for under 10$.

The local shop here at KASH (Boire Field, Nashua, NH), "Wings Pilot Shop" is a pretty interesting place.  Fun to look around.  Lots of merchandise from the frivolous (mugs and Tshirts) to the serious (need a aviation fuel test kit?).

The are online too.  All the ususal disclaimers about not being affiliated in any way and such apply  Wink.

best,
