more trouble with gmax (Read 182 times)

hi everyone...
still working on my plane
today i encountered a few moe problems with gmax:

1: i can't rotate parts... it seems to be locked somehow

2: the right click menu doesn't appear

last but not least: i can't export the model. the log file reads:
Running model

Start! (D:\gmax\Flightsim\gamepacks\FlightSim\ximango)
Loading X D:\gmax\Flightsim\gamepacks\FlightSim\ximango...
Error in exporter: Mismatch between # vertex faces (500000) and # normal faces (743294) in part rudder_02.
Error!
Error!

can anyone help??

oh i just got a new computer, running windows xp... had to re register and all Tongue

i can only help with the first problem. Click customize>preferences>viewports. At the bottom youll see the transform gizmo box. Make sure it says On and that Use labels and use planes is checked. Sorry bout the other problems but i cant help you there.

ok i fixed the first one:)

the rotational increment box ( in the preferences->viewports tab) was turned all the way down

please keep the sugestions coming

it looks very nice moach, very nice work. I myself wanna get to designing an F-104 but am encountering some problems with mesh modeling. Anyways, goodluck
