Hi
I was trying to figure out how to make a working gauge. I have panel creation software, but was wondering how to create one of my own and have it actually work in a virtual cockpit.
Is there a tutorial or something someone knows about for this??
Thanks

First of all, what panel developing software are you using? There are some that will allow you to create gauges. You also can go to the Microsoft FS2002 SDK site and download the panel.SDK file which will give you some insight as to how to make gauges. Some gauge design, however requires a knowledge of C+ programming.
Hope this helps you a little.

No but the commercial version - FS Panel Studio - claims to have gauge editing features.

The FS2002 Panels & Gauges SDK includes instructions on creating XML gauges.

I've never tried it as I think it's out of my league.

Unless you have a working knowledge of the C programming language forget it. XML gauges are the way to go.
