I never knew the default Corsair had so much detail. It really looks like it's seen some serious action!!!

Things are happening here which I don't understand. I posted a response almost immediately after the initial one and it's disappeared.....I have seen others saying the same thing......let me try again.....

Dave I agree with you totally, this plane has some amazing weathering...... 8)

i like it, especialy when you take the break off, full rudder any way, and full power, you spin in circles and draw strange signs on the runway. how do you open the cowl vent though?

...&&&&well of course! i'm trying to hit them!&&&&always fight fire with fire... because you get a bigger one!

Nobody gives Microsoft the credit they deserve.  With the exception of this one add-on for CFS3, I've never seen anybody pass up Microsoft's quality without making a ridiculous hit on frame rates.  You know the story, about half a million polygons just for an engine or something like that.

I assume this is in FS2002. The default Corsair (Vought) is straight out of CFS2 so the damage detail is not surprising. I never knew why it was included in a civil sim in the first place. Possibly added as some sort of bonus to make up the numbers of default aircraft without modelling a new one. At least it has a full DVC, unlike the Lear45 & Mooney Bravo which are straight out of FS2000. The number of new default aircraft in FS2002 is actually very small.
